Back to 🐭 the tamouse pages
Hi, I’m Tamara Temple.
I’ve been around a few years. Decades even.
This blog first took shape in around 2007, so it’s been around for a grand long time.
This latest edition, published on Notion, is hopefully the last time I’ll do this. Most platforms have a short shelf life, and being someone who is supposed to know this stuff, I’ve written various versions in different programming languages. I just don’t want to do that anymore, as it doesn’t serve me anymore.
Most of my life has been around the tech world of software engineering, web applications, and learning and teaching the craft of software.
I recently retired from the tech world, or at least from seeking employment from an increasingly hostile arena. You wouldn’t believe the absolute relief it is to not have to scurry around looking for work, only to be laid off in a few months. Now I’m living each day as my own adventure! 😄
AND I’m a parent of two fully grown-ass women who are about making the world a better place for people. PLUS I’m also “Nana” to a couple grandkids, what a hoot! 🌠. We have weekly video chats to keep in touch, and I send them art postcards. 🥰
The last several years I’ve been exploring art, mainly watercolours, but lately other media as well. It’s fun. I’m all about fun, and doing pretty much whatever I want.
