Back to šŸĀ the tamouse pages

Hi, Iā€™m Tamara Temple.

Iā€™ve been around a few years. Decades even.

Most of my life has been around the tech world of software engineering, web applications, and learning and teaching the craft of software.

But Iā€™m also a mom - two fully grown women who are about making the world a better place for people.

The last several years Iā€™ve been exploring art, mainly watercolours, but lately other media as well.

Itā€™s fun. Iā€™m all about fun.

I recently retired from the tech world, or at least from seeking employment from an increasingly hostile arena. You wouldnā€™t believe the absolute relief it is to not have to scurry around looking for work, only to be laid off in a few months.

This blog first took shape in around 2007, so itā€™s been around for a grand long time.

This latest edition, published on Notion, is hopefully the last time Iā€™ll do this. Most platforms have a short shelf life, and being someone who is supposed to know this stuff, Iā€™ve written various versions in different programming languages. I just donā€™t want to do that anymore, as it doesnā€™t serve me anymore.

All the stuff from the last incarnation is still up on Github, Iā€™m not deleting it. Iā€™m bringing over some stuff, backfilling, as it were, this edition. Iā€™m not planning to bring everything over.
