One of the recent Grouper watercolour classes did something I thought was pretty cool, so I decided to have a go.

The image is a watercolor painting depicting a view looking upward at a canopy of trees. The perspective shows several tree trunks converging toward the center, where the leaves form a vibrant green and yellow canopy against a light background. The edges of the painting are softly blurred, giving it an impressionistic and serene atmosphere.
Quick, simple, but oh so satisfying.
This isn’t actually what a tree canopy looks like. The tops of each tree give each other space.
